History : Began in 1997 by Jonathan Canady as an instrumental "solo project." The first recording was a very Maurizio Bianchi influenced analog noise CS called "Rage." No recordings were made from 1997 until 2002. In 2002 Canady asked DEATHPILE keyboardist David Williams to help with THE URGE WITHIN and the project was re-started as a more improvisational Death Industrial outlet.
THE URGE WITHIN will remain an ongoing project and recordings will be made as label offers arise.
