DEATHPILE

DEATHPILE 1995-2004 R.I.P. : Why end it now? Essentially I'm ready to do other things musically and I don't want to ruin the sound that DEATHPILE has developed over the years. In a nutshell, I'd like to end this project on a high note and then move on to doing strictly ANGEL OF DECAY. AOD will still be within the "style" of heavy electronics but won't adhere strictly to any one sub-category like power electronics (although I will most likely do a song/release in that vein from time to time).

I'd like to use this space to thank some people that have supported this project over the years including Mark Solotroff / Bloodlust!, David E. Williams for his amazing friendship and support, SQ, Patrick / Self Abuse, Marco / Slaughter Productions, RRRon, Rodolfo / Old Europa Cafe, Dominick / Hospital Productions, Peter / Force of Nature, any other labels or individuals who released my work, John / Slogun, Keith / Taint, Tom / Control, Dustin and Rosemary / Menschenfeind, Chris / Sickness, Scott / Gruntsplatter, Xavier / Timeless, Mikko / Freak Animal, and especially anyone who ever bought something I recorded. I'm sure I forgot some people here - please drop me a line and remind me what an ingrate I am.

The existing DEATHPILE web page will continue to be updated with pertinent information and improved on an ongoing basis. There are years worth of photos, interviews and so on that I will add to this site over the course of time. I have been slow about this since the project ended but I will be at least adding a photo section sometime during the Spring/Summer of 2005. I have also updated the DEATHPILE discography.
